Okuji Kensan's "Self-Sufficient" Factory by Solar

The metalworking firm Okuji Kensan in Osaka city recently started operation of its Fukushima Factory in Sukagawa city of Fukushima prefecture.

The factory has a 1.6 MW solar facility and the output is beyond the amount of electricity to be needed for production. In this sense the factory is "self-sufficient."
