Hanging-Type Micro Hydro by Hokuriku Seiki

The machinery manufacturer Hokuriku Seiki in Uozu city, Toyama prefecture, developed a hanging-type micro hydro (up to 50 kW) in cooperation with Toyama Prefectural University and Ishikawa Prefectural University.

With this type of generator, waterway construction becomes unnecessary so that installation is easier. And the new type is stronger against flooding.

The company says it is possible to collect investment in 6 years.
