Akita City Started Operation of 1.5 MW Solar


Akita city government started operation of a 1.5 MW solar in the same city of Akita prefecture.

The station is made in an old site of final disposal plant of 4.6 hectares.

To prevent damage and power decline from snow fall, the panels has an angle of 30 degrees and the stand is 1.5 meter high.

JGC to build 31 MW Solar in Kamogawa, Chiba


The oil engineering firm JGC Corporation (Nikki) is going to construct a 31 MW in Kamogawa city of Chiba prefecture.

The company takes part in the EPC as a whole.

The investment will be 10 billion JPY. The operation will start in January 2015.

Kita Gas Genex Started Operation of 1.2 MW Solar in Ishikari, Hokkaido


Kita Gas Genex in Sapporo, a 100% subsidiary of Hokkaido Gas, started the operation of its 1.2 MW solar station in Ishikari city, Hokkaido prefecture.

Considering snow fall in winter, the photovoltaic panels are installed at least 2 meters high from the ground. And the whole system is made to be cold-resistant. Stands to be salt-resistant.

The investment was 400 million JPY.

SMA Japan to Release 10kW PCS for Middle-Sized Solar


SMA Japan, a subsidiary of SMA Solar Technology of Germany, will release 10 kW PCS in January 2014.

The PCS is good for middle-sized solar station from 10 to 50 kW, which is advantageous in current FiT scheme in Japan and is now booming.

The product is a three-phase three-wire system, and its maximum conversion efficiency is 97.8%.

Daiwa House to Build 2.7 MW Solar in Kirishima, Kagoshima


Daiwa House is going to construct a 2.65 MW solar station in Kirishima city of Kagoshima prefecture.
The station will be made in an idle land of the company's old factory.

The investment will be 700 million JPY.
The station will start operation in February 2014.

Eiwa Denryoku to Build 16.7MW Solar in Asakawa, Fukushima


Eiwa Denryoku in Tokyo, a subsidiary of Giga Solar Materials of Taiwan, is going to build a megasolar station in Asakawa town of Fukushima prefecture.

The station will be made in old golf courses, whose company went bankruptcy due to a sharp fall of customers from the nuclear disaster in Fukushima.

According to the news story, the project will install 67,000 panels of 250 W.
If so, the total output capacity amounts to about 16.7 MW.

Mitsubishi UFJ to Finance 39 Billion JPY to Eurus's Megasolar in Aomori


Mitsubishi UFJ Bank settled that it would finance 39.3 billion JPY to Eurus Energy Holding's megasolar project in Aomori prefecture.

On the other hand, Mitsui Sumitomo Bank is going to finance 48 billion to solar projects to be installed on agricultural facilities.
