Nippon Paper to Introduce First "100% Unused Woodchip" Biomass Power

The point is that current Japanese FiT system rules five categories about electricity generation by biomass, and that the FiT price of "unused wood material" is second high (32 JPY/kWh) after
"methane fermented biomass gas"(39 JPY). So, it is lucrative for paper companies.
