Kobe City to Start Solar and Biogas

Kobe city, together with Energy Bank Japan, is going to start electricity generation with megasolar and biogas. Energy Bank Japan is a subsidiary of Osaka Gas.

The company utilizes sludge from the Tarumi Processing Plant of Kobe city to make biogas. It will install 14 small generators (350 kW in total) by biogas.

Also, it will use idle land at the plant for solar PVs (2,000 kW).
