Local Opposition Made Solar Developer Give Up in Fujieda

A real estate company in Shizuoka, Shizuoka prefecture, gave up its blueprint of 3,800 solar PVs in Fujieda city, due to strong opposition from local residents.

Locals have opposed the solar facility because it might destroy the scenery and because of glare by the panels.
