Microhydro on Irrigation Channel in Shimada, Shizuoka

A microhydro power station of 893kW was completed in Shimada city of Shizuoka prefecture.

The station named "Ita power plant" was installed on an irrigation channel, where the water elevation is 7 meters.

And the water flow is 17 cubic meters per second.
