J-Power and Eurus Energy to Build 171MW Wind in Tohoku by 2020

Tohoku Electric Power has recently chosen as candidates for its feasibility studies five wind power projects from two companies: J-Power and Eurus Energy.

The five projects are to build wind turbines of 171 MW in total in three prefectures (Iwate, Akita, and Aomori) in the Tohoku area.

The two companies aims at the operation start by 2020.
