Japanese Consumers' Co-operative Union (Co-op) and its subsidiary distribution firm LC Co-op started operation of two solar facilities in Sakai city and Fukui city, both in Fukui prefecture.
The former, Maruoka distribution center, has installed 1,428 panels, which generates 350 kW output.
And the latter, Fukui Prefectural Head Quarter of Co-op, has 120 panels of 30 kW in total.
All electricity to be generated will be sold to Hokuriku Electric Power.
