Orix and Kyudenko to Build 11.72 MW Solar in Omuta, Fukuoka

K Clean Energy, a special purpose company founded by Orix and Kyudenko, is going to build a 11.72 MW solar in Omuta city of Fukuoka prefecture.

The two companies recently concluded a lease contract with Nippon Coke & Engineering over Nippon Coke's land of over 170 thousand square meters. The lease period is 20 years.

They aim at the operation start in January 2015.
All the generated electricity will be sold to Kyusyu Electric Power at 42 JPY per kWh.
