Bihoro town in Hokkaido is preparing for installation of a mini-hydro generator at Hinami water purification plant.
The town applied for a subsidized project by Ministry of Environment and recently received an informal settlement.
The generator will start operation by the end of the fiscal year 2013.
The output and other specifications seems not to be clear at the moment.
